Erika Kangas, born 1970 in Stockholm, is a Swedish artist with Finnish roots, exploring the unseen.

Educated in art and pedagogy at Steiner Academy (WLH), she uses materials like salt and plastic film to create unique unpredictabel forms, that reflect the human subcouncious collective.

“After many years of teaching students in things like painting, the transision to creating on my own has come as an extension of that creativity. I`ve always drawn and painted, but never dreamed of becoming an artist. It`s gradually emerged from the depths of my soul, and today I can´t imagine working on anything else..”
